Coverage by state
Who may prepare a construction SWPPP, state by state, and whether our checkout is open there. Checkout is open in 28 states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and West Virginia. Some of those carry a limit you confirm before you pay.

Ruling key. Sell = no state preparer licence found. Sell, limit = sell inside the stated limit only. Client PE = sell only with the client's licensed professional supplying the approved or sealed plan. Do not sell = state requires a credential we lack. Hold = not verified; do not sell until checked against the permit text.
Basis. F = primary text fetched and read. S = primary document found by search; text not fully read. Local rules apply everywhere (for example Houston SWQMP and Austin ESCP need a PE; Cook County MWRD in Illinois; Flat Rock, NC).
Our checkout is open only for Sell and Sell, limit rulings. Client PE, Do not sell and Hold states are closed.
