Checked October 20, 2026 against the permit text published by Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, Division of Water. Sources and sections are listed at the end of this page.
In Kentucky, construction stormwater coverage comes from KPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activities (permit no. KYR100000 (KYR10)), issued by Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, Division of Water (DOW). It took effect January 3, 2025 and expires December 31, 2029.
Where we can help. Projects that use treatment chemicals or discharge to waters with a sediment TMDL are not eligible for KYR10 and are outside our scope.

- Site map attached to eNOI.
- No in-stream sediment ponds or rock checks under this permit (5.2.3).
What a SWPPP Desk plan covers here
We prepare a site-specific plan written to KYR100000 (KYR10), with each section mapped to the permit part it answers. You, the operator, review and sign it and keep it on site.
Checkout open in Kentucky. State ruling: Sell. The site check on the plan page applies these conditions before payment. See coverage.
Before checkout you confirm:
- The project uses no stormwater treatment chemicals and does not discharge to a water with a sediment TMDL (both are excluded from KYR10).
What we do not do
- Our plans are not sealed or stamped. BMPs that need design calculations, such as sediment basins and post-construction practices, come from your design professional.
- The operator signs the plan and is responsible for it.
- We do not visit or inspect sites.
- We do not file the NOI or any permit application for you. We tell you which form and portal the permit names.
