Arizona SWPPP: ADEQ Construction General Permit (AZG2025-001) SWPPP

Checked October 20, 2026 against the permit text published by Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Sources and sections are listed at the end of this page.

In Arizona, construction stormwater coverage comes from AZPDES Construction General Permit (permit no. AZG2025-001), issued by Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). It took effect August 29, 2025 and expires August 28, 2030.

Scope note. Optional retention-basin alternatives (skip perimeter controls or stabilization) need a 100-yr/2-hr calculation by an Arizona registered PE, geologist or landscape architect (Parts 3.3, 3.4.3); our plans use standard perimeter controls instead.

Inspection spacing rules: not within 5 (or 10) days of the previous one.
Annual fee invoices continue until the NOT is approved.

What a SWPPP Desk plan covers here

We prepare a site-specific plan written to AZG2025-001, with each section mapped to the permit part it answers. You, the operator, review and sign it and keep it on site.

Checkout open in Arizona. State ruling: Sell. The site check on the plan page applies these conditions before payment. See coverage.

Small site: $449 Large site: $749

What we do not do

Our plans are not sealed or stamped. BMPs that need design calculations, such as sediment basins and post-construction practices, come from your design professional.
The operator signs the plan and is responsible for it.
We do not visit or inspect sites.
We do not file the NOI or any permit application for you. We tell you which form and portal the permit names.
