Checked October 20, 2026 against the permit text published by Ohio EPA, Division of Surface Water. Sources and sections are listed at the end of this page.
In Ohio, construction stormwater coverage comes from NPDES Construction General Permit (permit no. OHC000006), issued by Ohio EPA, Division of Surface Water. It took effect April 23, 2023 and expires April 22, 2028.
Scope note. Post-construction BMP sizing (water quality volume) in the SWP3 comes from your design professional. Big Darby and Olentangy watersheds have separate permits.

What a SWPPP Desk plan covers here
We prepare a site-specific plan written to OHC000006, with each section mapped to the permit part it answers. You, the operator, review and sign it and keep it on site.
Checkout open in Ohio. State ruling: Sell. The site check on the plan page applies these conditions before payment. See coverage.
What we do not do
- Our plans are not sealed or stamped. BMPs that need design calculations, such as sediment basins and post-construction practices, come from your design professional.
- The operator signs the plan and is responsible for it.
- We do not visit or inspect sites.
- We do not file the NOI or any permit application for you. We tell you which form and portal the permit names.
