In Massachusetts, construction stormwater coverage comes from EPA 2022 Construction General Permit (as modified 2025) (permit no. MAR100000), issued by US EPA (EPA is the permitting authority). It took effect February 17, 2022 (modified permit effective April 8, 2025) and expires February 16, 2027 (proposed 2027 CGP published August 3, 2026).

Points that are easy to miss
- MassDEP Stormwater Standards apply through wetlands permits.
- Existing permittees must re-file under the 2027 CGP once final.

What we do not do
- Our plans are not sealed or stamped. BMPs that need design calculations, such as sediment basins and post-construction practices, come from your design professional.
- The operator signs the plan and is responsible for it.
- We do not visit or inspect sites.
- We do not file the NOI or any permit application for you. We tell you which form and portal the permit names.
