SWPPP plan

SWPPP plan for a small site: 1 to under 5 acres

A site-specific stormwater pollution prevention plan written to the construction general permit that covers your site, prepared from your drawings and delivered by email the next business day after your inputs are complete. Fixed price $449.

A short site check comes first: state, acreage and scope. After payment you go straight to a short upload form. Your plan arrives from orders@swpppdesk.com. All sales are final. We revise your plan free until it meets the stated scope.

What the permit asks for at this size

Many construction general permits treat 1 to under 5 acres differently from 5 acres or more. In Texas, for example, small sites do not file an NOI: the SWPPP must be in place, a signed Form 20963 posted at least 2 days before construction, and a copy given to the MS4 operator. TXR150000 Part II.E.2 Your state's rules may differ; we write to the permit that covers your site.

What you get

  • A site-specific SWPPP written to the sections your construction general permit requires: site description, construction sequence, acreage and soils, site map list, support activities, BMPs with install triggers, non-stormwater discharges, inspections, dewatering and stabilization. For Texas sites we follow the section order of TCEQ's own template (RG-639).
  • Inspection log, rain log and corrective action log you can print and use on site.
  • Subcontractor certification pages and operator signature pages.
  • A one-page plain-English "what to do on site" summary for your superintendent.
  • Your permit's small-site notice or authorization form filled in with your site details where one applies (for Texas sites, TCEQ Form 20963), ready to sign and post.

What is not included

  • Site inspections or visits. We never inspect your site.
  • Filing with your permitting authority or paying permit fees on your behalf. You file and pay.
  • A PE stamp or any sealed drawing. Prepared by our team led by Mohamed Elansary, PhD. We are not a licensed engineering firm and do not seal plans.
  • BMPs that need engineering design, sediment basins, discharges to impaired (303(d)-listed) waters, wetland or stream work, and data-center projects. Our checkout gate stops orders for these sites before payment.
  • Sites in any state or locality that requires a sealed plan or a certified preparer, for example California, where the SWPPP must be developed by a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD). Source: California 2022 CGP, Section IV.O.1

Questions

Which permit is the plan written to?

The construction general permit that covers your site: your state's permit, or EPA's 2022 CGP where EPA is the permitting authority. EPA 2022 CGP For Texas sites that is TCEQ's TXR150000; see the Texas guide.

Is this a template?

No. It is written for your site from your drawings and form answers.

Who signs?

You, the operator. We do not sign or stamp plans.

What if my acreage is wrong?
